Welcome to the inaugural William Hill Poker League. At the end of the season, we will crown a National Champion as well as Regional Champions for each league, with over £12,000 to give away!

Poker League
Get ready for the first ever William Hill Poker League, with over £12,000 up for grabs! Players will compete in their regional leagues for the next three months, and earn leaderboard points based on their finishing position each week. You can win your share of the money as follows:
1. We add £45 cash to every weekly tournament in every Regional League
2. We award the winner of each Regional League with a £260 cash prize.
3. We hold a National Championship with a £5,000 final table.
Each tournament costs £10 + £1 to enter and pays out 100% of the prizefund, as with a normal tournament. To find the tournaments go to the Poker lobby >> WHPL tab

Regional Leagues
The league will be broken up into seven Regional Leagues encompassing the UK & Ireland.

Each regional league will hold a tournament on Sundays at 4pm. The National Qualifier and National Final will be held on Sundays at 4pm according to the schedule below. After 13 weeks we will award the winner from each Regional Leaderboard with a £260 cash prize.
The top 20 players from each Regional Leaderboard will earn a place in the National Qualifier tournament. The final table from the National Qualifier tournament will play a £5,000 National Event Final!
Leaderboard Points
Points for each weekly Regional Tournament will be awarded as per the following formula:
Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)]
N is the number of entrants
K is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)

Please note: players can play in more than one league. At the end of the final round, the highest points earned in one league will be counted for winning the extra cash prize or for eligibility for the National Qualifier. Players cannot carry points from one Regional League to another.
50% extra Points Week
To keep things interesting we will run a 50% extra points week at the end of every month. Any leaderboard points earned during this week will be increased by 50%, and we will also increase the added cash to £100! These weeks are a great chance to catch up!
Bonus Points
On top of this, we will also reward players who play in all of their tournaments throughout the season. That's right, play in your regional tournament every week and we will award you a bonus 100 Leaderboard Points!
