We are continuously making improvements to the Poker software to make your experience more enjoyable. To make playing online poker with us a rewarding experience, we've been adding new tools and fuctions for you.
There are also numerous other changes which are listed below:
Players' experience is now improved with the ability to configure the bet slider buttons for No Limit and Pot Limit games. This change applies to all cash tables, Speed Hold'em tables and tournaments.
You can find this new option by going to Settings -> Table in the William Hill Poker client, then clicking on Configure Betting Buttons.

A pop-up window will open and there you will be able to define what each button will do, before and after the flop:

Each button can be configured as follows:
Pre-flop:
Note: The "Max" button has the same functionality as an all-in button in No Limit games.
When "Big Blind" is selected, players can choose how many big blinds they want to bet/raise. The bet values range start at 2 big blinds and can go up to 6 big blinds, in 0.5 big blind steps (i.e. 2, 2.5, 3, etc.).
Post-flop:
When "% of Pot" is selected, players can choose what percentage of the pot they want to bet/raise. This value ranges from 30 to 110 and it can be increased in steps of 10 (i.e. 30%, 40%, 50%, etc.).
Note: If you make changes to the bet buttons during a hand, those changes will be visible on the same hand, the next time it is your turn to act.
Ever wanted to see all the tournaments you're set to play at one glance? You can do that now, thanks to this new tool.
The Calendar tab allows you to see what tournaments you're scheduled to play in. Clicking it will display your tournaments for the current month, as well as the next two months. You can also check and see the tournaments you played the previous month.

If you click on a date in the Calendar, the panel on the right hand side will display detailed information on all tournaments taking place set to take place for that particular date.
This new tab allows you to keep track of your poker playing buddies at William Hill. Clicking this tab will display your friends list and it will allow you to search for and add friends.

The friends in your list are sorted alphabetically. Your friends list can also show you whether your friends are connected or not, their avatars, location and any notes you may have on them.
Clicking on a friend's row from your friends list will show you what tables they are currently sitting at. Click on one of those tables to see more information about that particular table, such as table type, stakes and more.
The third new tab we've added allows you to see all the tokens and tournament seats won via satellites.

Clicking on any of these tokens or seat items will show you such information as name, value, expiry date and which tournaments they can be used for.
If you receive a new token or win a seat in a tournament, you will get a notification next to your Tokens tab. The notification will also show you how many new tokens and/or seats you have.
If nicknames and avatars weren't enough to hide your real identity, then the Anonymous Tables are just the thing for you! As the name suggests, you will be completely anonymous, as none of your details will be visible to the other players.
Thanks to these tables, you will be able to focus on what matters most - playing poker.

When you sit down at an Anonymous Table, you will notice that player nicknames are replaced by names like Player 1, Player 2 and so on, according to their seat at the table. The regular avatars are also gone and they are replaced by an "Anonymous" avatar.
The new Anonymous Tables can be found in the William Hill Poker lobby, under the Cash Game tab. The tables are called Anonymous Table 1, Anonymous Table 2, etc. and they have a small mask icon in the info column of the lobby.

If you want to play more than one Anonymous Table at a time, simply click the "Join Similar" button and you will be taken to another Anonymous Table that matches your filters.
You can also filter games to only show you Anonymous Tables - to do so, click on the "More" button located at the bottom right side of the main lobby and check "Anonymous Tables".

Synchronised Tournament Breaks
Tournaments were designed to have breaks individually, so playing multiple tournaments that had different starting dates proved to be quite a challenge.
This is why we've implemented the Synchronised Tournament Breaks - thanks to it, all tournaments will go on a break and resume at the same time.
Example: Let's say you're playing three tournaments and they start at 12:10 GMT, 12:30 GMT and 12:45 GMT. The synchronised break runs every hour and it lasts for five minutes, e.g. 12:55 GMT - 13:00 GMT. All three tournaments will be paused at 12:55 GMT and all hands currently being played will be completed before going on a five minute break. After that, the next break will occur at 13:55 GMT, 14:55 GMT and so on, until the tournaments finish.
If you ever wanted some more action in your cash games, then antes will usually do the trick.
Antes have now been introduced for a variety of No Limit and Pot Limit cash games, including Hold'em, Omaha and Omaha Hi Lo. Only some tables are using this new feature and you can find them in the Cash Games tab of the William Hill Poker lobby.
You can also set the filter to display only ante cash tables. To do this, simply click on the More button located on the bottom right side of the games list and then check "Ante" from the pop-p window that will appear.

We have implemented a new feature that should make tracking your VIP status progress much easier. The VIP info pop-up window will be displayed whenever you move your mouse over the
button located above the Cashier button. This pop-up will display your current VIP status, the required amount of WH Points needed to reach the next level and the date until you can do so.

If you ever wanted all your William Hill Poker related messages in one place, then the wait is over. Thanks to this new feature, you will be able to find all notifications in one place - the Inbox.
Here you will receive all sorts of messages and notifications such as:
When you are logged into the William Hill Poker client, the My Poker section will display the number of unread messages you have:

Once you go to My Poker you will see the Inbox button, along with the number of unread messages:

To read any message located in your Inbox, simply click it - the contents of the message will be displayed in the panel on the right.
We have added even more ways to make your multi-tabling experience as smooth as possible. Playing more tables at the same time has never been easier, thanks to these new features.
Wait for Big Blind
When you join a table with more than two players, you will have the "Wait for Big Blind" option checked by default:

If you want to start playing right away, simply uncheck this option and you will be dealt cards on the next hand.
Sit out on next Big Blind
This button allows you to automatically go into "Sit Out" mode once it is your turn to post the Big Blind. This option will appear once you have played at least one hand and it will be displayed in the bottom right corner of the table:

Note: If you check the Sit Out next Big Blind button, then the Sit Out button will not be available and vice versa.
Sit out and Sit back on all X tables
This new feature will make it easier to sit out or rejoin the action on all tables you're playing. This button is located on the top right side, just next to the Help menu; clicking it will open a drop-down menu that allows you to:

Keep focus on Chat and Notes
It may have happened that you were chatting or writing a player note, only to see your cursor moving to another table.
Thanks to this new feature, the focus will remain in the area you are currently working on. To enable this option, simply go to Settings -> Multi Tables and then check "Keep focus on Chat and Notes".

Set focus on Bet amount
This is a new feature that has been added to the Settings -> Multi Tables menu. This one works together with the Keep focus on Chat and Notes option:
Speed Poker is the lightning fast new poker game now available at William Hill. The instant fold functionality means you stay in the action at all times, as you are taken to a new table the instant you fold a hand. This revolutionary new way of playing poker allows players to experience the thrill and excitement of poker without having to wait for your opponents to act. With Speed Poker, the action is always on YOU!
Joining a Speed Poker table enters you into a large player pool. You will play each hand as you would on a normal cash table, but when you fold your hand you immediately SPEED off to the next available open slot at another Speed Poker table.
And you don't even need to wait until the poker action gets to you... players can fold at any moment, even when it's not your turn to act!
Just go to Speed Poker tab and choose your preferred speed action game. Then start cashing.
Each Speed Poker stake level has a separate player pool. Once you've chosen your stake level, click 'Join Now' to open the game.

Remember you can ALWAYS Click on the "Speed Fold" button and be dealt into a new hand at a new table!

One Step Tournament Registration
Registering to your favourite tournaments is now easier than ever! We have implemented a one-step registration system, which means that you will spend less time setting things up and more time playing!
When you log in and go to the Tournaments tab in the William Hill Poker lobby, you will notice that there's a Register Now button on the right hand side.

Clicking this button will trigger one of two possible scenarios:

If you use tokens and you have more than one in your account, then the one that expires the soonest will be used for registration.
We've replaced the Options menu with Lobby Settings, an area that lets you customise your poker experience.
You can find this menu on the top side of the William Hill Poker lobby - clicking it will open a pop-up window that will let you make changes to various areas.

Simply browse through the tabs listed on the left side of the pop-up window, make the changes you want and then press OK - the window will close and your settings will be updated. You can also click Apply if you made any changes and wish to keep the pop-up window open and make more changes.
Whether you're looking to change the way your cards and avatar are displayed, what kind of chat messages you want to see or anything in between, the Lobby Settings menu is where you will find them.
Note: This new menu also contains the Casino Games options.
We have given our filters a massive revamp, both visually and in terms of functionality. Thanks to these new filters, finding your favourite games will be just a few clicks away so you will spend more time doing what you like: playing poker at William Hill.
Ring Game Filters
Log in to William Hill Poker and check the ring game filters by selecting Cash Games from the left hand side of the lobby and then clicking the More button located on the bottom right side of the games list.
A pop-up window will appear and you will be able to customise what kind of cash games you want to see in the main list. You will notice that two sections have now been updated: Buy-in and Advanced. Thanks to these new filters, you will be able to choose games that allow a particular amount of big blinds to enter, but you will also be able to filter tables by the number of players seated, average pot, average stack or hands per hour.

Tournament Filters
We have reworked most of this section in order to make your tournament search faster and simpler at the same time. To access the tournament filters, you will just need to click on Tournaments from the left side of the William Hill Poker lobby and then click the More button.
The pop-up window that will appear should contain everything you need to sort the tournaments list. Here you will be able to select what kind of game you're looking for, how many players you want per table, the tournaments' starting times and much more.

SNG Filters
If you are a fan of Sit & Go's, we have some good news for you too. We took a look at the filters we had for this type of game and we made some significant improvements. You will now be able to choose between Hold'em, Omaha and Stud, No Limit, Pot Limit and Fixed Limit, but also sort Sit & Go's by status: registering, running, completed.

A new button has been added to the William Hill cash tables called Join Similar. Thanks to it, your multi-tabling experience should be smoother and will give you more time to do what you wanted to do in the first place: play poker.
You can find this button on the bottom left side of every cash game table, just above the chat box.

When you click it, you will be taken to a table of the same type as the table yo are currently sitting at. The system will find tables matching your criteria (game type, stakes, table format) and once it finds one with at least one seat open, it will prompt you to join it:

If all tables matching your criteria are full, then you will be prompted to join the general waiting list.

If you have ever wanted to replay your last game, or any other hand within the last 30 days, you now have the ability to review each event, bet by bet.
The Replay Tool acts like a video recorder that allows all the replay functions such as skip, replay, forward and back.
There are two ways to start the Replay Tool:
1. Clicking on the Replay Tool icon at the top left corner of a cash table / tournament.

The Replay Tool will then appear in the bottom right of the table screen:

2. Go to the Cashier >> My Account >> Cash / Tournament History >> Select the specific game >> Select the specific hand >> View Replay.

The Hand History Replayer is currently available only for real money games and is supported for the following types: Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi Lo.
Backbet is a brand new product that has been added to the William Hill Poker software.
It gives players the ability to place additional bets on the poker action at the tables, hand by hand!
There are numerous combinations available at every hand, derived from the hundreds of permutations in dealt / un-dealt cards. These options are dependent on the poker table state, the bet amount, the pocket cards and the community cards.
The BackBet application communicates with the iPoker network server and receives automatic betting option, for example: 'Bet on the next pocket cards', 'Bet on the board cards', 'Bet on the folded cards' and much more.
To activate the BackBet function, simply click on the BackBet icon at the top right of the screen. However, BackBet can only be accessed only from one table at a time.

William Hill Poker now has 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo games added to the poker lobby.
In 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo each player gets 7 cards (two cards face down / four cards face up / one more faced down) and has to make the highest or the lowest possible combination .
Stud Hi-Lo is a "split pot" game, meaning that at showdown, the pot is divided in two halves, one half awarded to the winning best hand, and the other half being awarded to the best qualifying "low hand."
Qualifiers for a low hand are the same as with Omaha Hi-Lo.
In game play, there are 2 differences between 7 Card Stud and 7 Card Stud Hi-Lo:

Award and Status Points Displayed in the Info Tab in Chat
WHPoints and Status points are now displayed in the top left corner of the table and in the chat Info tab.

Auto re-buy option in tournaments
This is a brand new feature for the Poker software. The Auto re-buy allows for uninterrupted play during tournaments. Players can simply set up automatic re-buys into regular tournaments.
This includes real money and points buy-in games.
The Auto re-buy functionality is available during the pre-configured re-buy period of the specific tournament. During this period, the player can select one of the available three checkboxes:
Each of these options is mutually exclusive, meaning only one option can be selected at a time.

If a player attempts any of the available options but does not have sufficient funds, a popup notification will appear, saying: “Sorry, you do not have sufficient funds to Re-buy.” players can enter the Cashier to add more funds.
When moving from one table to another, the auto re-buy settings will be saved and applied to the new table.
Note: If a player is in Sit-Out, the Auto Re-buying feature cannot be utilized.

Improvements to the stake filters make selecting a table easier.
Cash table filters
New values are added in the Stakes drop down:

New Tooltips with the explanatory texts are shown when hovering over the icons in the lobby.

New values have been added to the buy-in drop down:

We have added Keyboard functions to help you make your moves at the tables.
This is particularly useful for multi-table action, so now you can bet, fold, check and more using the F Keys.
The shortcuts are shown on the screenshot buttons:

Disconnections do happen time to time. Re-connecting to the poker lobby and returning to the tables is now just one click away with the Auto-Reconnect feature. There is no need to re-enter login credentials, and players will re-enter the same game where they left off.
Disconnected players will remain in sit out mode until reconnection or until the pre-configured time for sit out elapses.
If the Auto Reconnect does not achieve a connection, a new notification pop-up window will appear, stating: Your connection to William Hill Poker was lost. We are trying to re-establish your connection.

Bounty Tournaments have been added to the interface and make the bounty easy to spot, at the tables and in the tournament registration list.
The Tournament Bounty will have an orange circle (attribute) appear next to their Nickname.

After a 20 minute period of inactivity, if the software has not detected mouse or keyboard activity, players will receive a pop-up message, which informs them of an impending automatic log out. Players will therefore have 30 sections to click on the “OK” button to restart the session timer.
Clicking on the download button will lead to the installation of Windows compatible software on your PC of at least 50 MB size, which will enable you to register and play on our software platform. The application can be uninstalled completely cleanly using the normal remove programs options in Windows. No functions of the software will remain after uninstalling.
